Synopsis:
God tells Moses who the workmen will be who will build the tabernacle, altars and clothing. He also commands that no one work on the sabbath. If they do, they will be put to death. This is a perpetual covenant. At which point, God gives Moses the tablets and sends him down from the mountain.
In other words.
Rest or I will kill you!
Favorite bit:
That I had totally forgotten that Moses was still on the mountain and that all the past few chapters were the orders he was receiving from God about what to do.
Moral Lesson Learned:
Don’t work so hard. Take a break now and then (Exodus 31)
