Exodus 39: Clothes are made for Aaron (or the Birth of the Miter)


Synopsis:

Blue, purple and scarlet clothes are made for Aaron. Gold and precious stones adorn the ephod and fine linen and lace are used to make the miter. It is declared that the work of building the tabernacle and altar (complete with brass grate) and the clothes for Aaron are done.

In other words:

Clothes are made for Aaron and the work is done.

Favorite bit:

That the brass grate for the altar is given special mention. (Exodus 39:39)

Moral Lesson:

Keep working until your project is done (Exodus 39)
