Leviticus 1: Rules for Killing and Burning Offerings
The rules of what to offer, how to offer it, how to kill it, where to sprinkle the blood, and exactly how to cook it are laid out. Three classifications of animals are included in these rules: cows, flock animals like sheep and goats and fowl. All offerings must be unblemished.
In other words:
God tells Moses how to kill and cook meat.
Leviticus 1:16 –“And he shall pluck his crop and feathers, and cast it besides the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes.”
